Our 5th & 6th graders have been working hard since December and finally had a chance last Sunday to compete in a 1/2 day tournament with 7 other local teams. For some of these girls, it was their very first tournament. They all did a great job and had a lot of fun too!

Our teams have been extremely busy over the last 4 weeks, as they have competed in the Seeding Day and Power League 1 & 2. All teams are showing great improvement and have been climbing up the rankings. Here’s a quick update:

• The U13 had a rough seeding day, as they all experienced their very first tournament. Since Seeding Day, they have posted an 8-0 record and have moved up 2 Flights!
• The U14 team is currently sitting at a 10-2 record and both of those losses have been in 3 sets. Like the 13’s, they have also moved up a second flight after winning their crossover match on Sunday.
• The U15 team has been playing steady in all 3 tournaments, as the players get use to new teammates and positions. Their hard work is starting to pay off. After remaining in Flight 5 for both Power League Tournaments, they won their pool on Sunday and will be moving up a Flight.

U15 Tryout Registration Now Open!

This training is intended for those athletes who are interested in gaining more volleyball experience, but do not want the commitment and cost of a full club season. Our goal is to teach the game of volleyball in a positive and fun environment. We will teach these players the necessary skills to play the game, as well as team concepts and strategies.

In addition, we will offer the option of adding 2-3 tournaments for players interested in competing against other teams. Additional costs and player minimums required.

 

Program Dates

• Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm between December 4th & April 1st at Canyon Park MS
• In addition, players will pick 5-7 Sundays December-March to train in smaller groups at Bothell HS from 6-8pm

Participants

Up to 24 – a number of spots will be saved for girls who are in the Bothell HS feeder pattern.

Cost – $375

Additional costs apply if selecting to participate in any tournaments.
